Can anyone with a six lug show me pics of your rims

I gave my daughter my short 69 C10, lowered 4 in the rear and 3 in the front. Looking for some six lug rim options. Don't know if we will go with 17",20". Looking for suggestions. It's the truck in my avatar. Thanks!

Those might be the only 5 spoke 6 lug wheels I've ever seen... it's about damn time...

Re: Can anyone with a six lug show me pics of your rims

I'm having a hard time finding six lug rims like five spoke Coys. Not a lot of options out there for six lug. She really likes the five spoke look.

I know getting a five spoke like those isn't going to happen but I'd like to find something similar

Have you looked into doing a 5-lug conversion? All the parts are available, just depends on how much money you want to spend to get the look you want.

She's just invested $6000 in a new engine and other upgrades, she's getting a little stingy with her credit card! She's also getting a new trans, tires and rims and I'll be re painting it soon so I can't get her to let me spend more money! It's been fun going on a shopping spree with her card, love spending her money! Once the truck is done I'm going to make her give it back to me!

Re: Can anyone with a six lug show me pics of your rims

I was in the same boat. I didn't want to spend 500 bucks a rim. I was able to buy my rims and tires brand new delivered to the house mounted balanced and lug nuts for under $2200. I couldn't be happier. When I lost one of my center caps, they sent me a new one for free with extra O-rings.

15x10 American Racing "Outlaw II's" with BFG 275/60/15 T/A Radials all around. I've had them for a while now, and thinking about stripping and polishing them, and then clearcoat them. I have new chrome bullet center caps, just don't have the on yet

Re: Can anyone with a six lug show me pics of your rims

Sounds like your daughter has already narrowed down what kind of wheel she wants, but steel wheels are an option too. There is quite a range of sizes available, including these 22" Transit wheels. They are shipping wheels for newer GM trucks and are fairly cheap if you can find someone with a set (I know some people with them).

I see a good amount of people using these wheels. I looked at a set when I was buying my truck and there was a sticker on the wheel that said something like only good for up to 50mph. Does anyone know why that is?

I think because they are technically only made for shipping and GM is not allowed to sell them, which is why they destroy them after shipping. Maybe the wheels are cheaper that way because they don't have to go through full certification? I'm not really up to speed on what it takes to fully test a wheel, but I do know that these wheels are stamped DOT approved so they have gone through at least some testing. I also know that many many people have run these for several years now, and I have not heard of a single failure.
