Mad Max was just delivered....

Once again proving I will buy ANYTHING,, let's call it Mad Max. 1970? I think GMC C2500. Had a local guy call me at work taday saying he knew where this jewel was hiding. He sent a couple of pics, we cut a delivery deal and BAM, it is sitting in the driveway when I get home. Pretty well unmolested, except for the end of the world add ons. Power steering, power brake and automatic truck. I have no idea if it runs, will try to determine that in a few days, but it is here where it belongs,, for now.

It is a fine piece of automotive engineering. I would say many six packs went it to the process.

Needs a "dawg on duty" bumper sticker and to closely tailgate chevy chase's family truckster with 8 headlights.

I am curious about the welds but it does look "beefy."

I guess a lot of "fabricators" really do drink as they work on something, such practices are alien to me.

I dunno,,, some people just work with what they have and the limited skills they were born with. Still looks bad ass and I have heard it has knocked over many an outhouse and chicken coop in its day.

Re: Mad Max was just delivered....

Weld some forks to that grill and install a hydraulic ram cylinder to back of it and you have a primitive skid steer loader.
