budget air ride

Hey all ! I have a67 c10. Im thinking of trying to do a super budget air ride set up. can you guys point me in a direction of a list of minimal parts i will need to get something going on my truck please?

In my opinion there is no such thing as a budget air ride unles you want it to ride like crap and eat tires.
You need all the stuff a good static drop needs except air bags in the place of coil spring.
Quality drop shocks, shock relocaters, an adjustable track bar, drop spindles and lowering blocks to help keep the ride height low, etc.
You can however save some money by running a manual valve system to air up the bags.
But you need to control all the bags individually.
A good sway bar up front helps a lot too. You

Im trying to do everything on this truck as budget as possible... thinking of even piecing the parts together as i see them inexpensive etc..

Go cheap on other stuff.
But not the suspension and brakes.
Too many people on the road with you that depend on it.

Good quality air fittings are also a must for a leak free install.

Put bags where your springs are and run Schrader valves to each bag until you can afford more parts.

AZ ProPerformance is good and cheap, so is AVS, or Custom Connection.

Whatever you do stay far far away from airbagit.com they are cheap but known for making and selling total junk not worth using them.

i saw your post in a different thread...

this is the info that i have come up with from reading other posts and talking to some buddies... Can anyone confirm this info please?

- The rears i can run a bag instead of my spring, with a bolt in c notch ( and i believe you had a 2" drop block in the rear also)

- Fronts I can run bag plates to mount the fronts.

Compressors, air tank, and manual switches and i can have my truck bagged? I posted originally I was looking for a budget air ride. I guess im just looking for a simple set up, not looking to be body dropped. but be able to drop it when i park etc. If I went with this set up how low could I expect to get?

The lower a-arms are the lowest point on the front end. With drop spindles & bags they will hit the ground when aired out. The rear air'd out would be equal to about 9-10" of drop before the rear differential hits the bed floor & the axle tube bottoms out in the c-notch.
