More drop in rear than front?
Have noticed a lot of threads where someone has more drop in rear than front.Wondering why? Handling or ride better? I like the raked look where front is little lower than rear. Just curious.

I think if you rebuild a suspension to stock specs it will still require more drop in the rear to get a slight rake if lowering it. Last edited by 3drburb; 04-23-2017 at 01:53 PM. Reason: Errors |

Re: More drop in rear than front?
I think another thing compounding what 3drburb said is that the rear wheel arch is about 2" lower than the front one. So, when the truck is truly level, it appears that the rear is lower than the front. If you set it up so that the wheel to wheel arch distance is the same front to rear, you get a decent rake.

Re: More drop in rear than front?
because they are HIGHER in the rear than the front in stock form. adding more drop in back equates to the truck sitting level - as stated above, normally it's a 2" difference
