Just installed the center console (pics)
Hey everyone, I just finished most of my center console project. I've still got to paint the sheet metal to match the dash and then install it. Here are the pics so far, I stole the color matched metal idea from ackattack. I hope you don't mind! Here's some shots of mine and one of his from another post so you get an idea.

im actually gonna be doing the same thing those two did soon i think im going to use the buckets out of a 95 or so chevy pickup and mount a ratchet shifter on the console so i can actually reach it but for now im stuck with the column shift. also going to make the high part between the seats on a hinge so i can put my blue bottle in there

Thanks for the compliments!
Yellow72custom, I'm still thinking about the ratchet shifter, not too sure about it yet. The speakers are a good idea but, for now the kick panel pods that I carpeted over will work... 1970blazin, I think most of us are the same way... well except CPNE... lol I will get some more pics after I get the sheet metal installed it might be a while though.

Does anyone else have pics of a console???? I have a bench seat and am trying to build a miniconsole to put speakers on each side to avoid the kick panel kind since I have vents and my Fire extinguisher is mounted on the right kick panel.
Any pics or suggestions will be welcomed!!!!
