'67 lt. green or '69 aqua door panels-anyone know a source?

I have a '67 I'm putting together and would like to go with the original lt. green Custom vinyl or '69 CST aqua door panels but the typical resto companies don't supply these colors (?!) Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Steve weim55 Colorado

You can call SMS fabric in I think Washington but they are expensive. Or try Rick's Custom Upholstery in Tennessee. They don't have old fabric but usually Donna thinks up something nice depending on what your looking for. Here is a picture of my sons truck they made covers for. We just left door panels metal stock ones and painted them color of truck

When I had a local guy recover my bench seat for my '68, he was able to get the exact same light, almost metallic looking "aqua" vinyl fabric. Matched my original sun visors to a tee. And as I recall, it was cheaper than the big name guys. Not sure where he ordered it from, but I think he just matched it to a sample book he had. Originally the seat was more of a match to the dashpad - a little darker green. I preferred to match the sun visors and as it turned out, I don't think he had the darker green. But then again, I was looking for that blue green color of the sun visors anyway. Good luck.

Good idea. The '67 door panel pattern is fairly simple and a good interior guy could match it with the color I desire. I have a darker turquoise '69 dash pad and visors that work well with the original lt. green '67 interior paint-vinyl. Hence I would like to find '69 panels and armrests to match the dash pad and visors I have. Thanks for the tip.

I too have had good luck with Rick's. They have a website that shows a lot of things they have done. The material on my seat covers was not identical but it went well with the rest of the interior, the cost was reasonable, and the fit was very nice! I installed the covers myself and I am not a genius.

Ive been looking for an aqua dash pad for my 70 Longhorn a while. I finally came across a grey one for $20 that I am going to try painting/ dying. Mine has the " deluxe" door panels, but luckily theyre in pretty good shape. Only one bad spot on the driver side that I think I can reglue.

Thanks for the lead! PUI shows BOTH the door panel options I'm looking for. I'll let you know how it turns out when I go to order.

Hi Steve, what door panels did you end up getting and how did they turn out?
