Those trucks have narrowed rear ends and wheel tubs in the bed to allow for those wider tires...see pic of my chevelle....

They probalaby had to make some suspension mods to accept the narrowed rear end as well.

I'm guessing some 15x10's with massive 50 series tires on there, no?

Don't have my Summit catalogue with me. This site may help with tire sizes <http://www.1010tires.com/> then click around in the Tech section.

The blue truck belongs to a guy from the Baytown Texas area. I talked to him at Super Chevy, where that pic was taken. Yes, his truck is tubbed and the rear end narrowed. Nice truck, with a really nice owner.

I think I have a pic of the red truck here somewhere....

If you don't narrow the rear but tub or mini tub the bed you should be able to get a variety of meats under there provided you have some custom offset or backspacing. I got 345/55/15's on 15X10's under my stock 71 longbed....it was tight. Check out my site for pics.

My Tubbed 68 Stepside

special70gmc

There are some pics of my 68 stepside. The back half of the frame was cut off, and a Chris Alston Laddder bar frame was added. The rear tire size is 33x19x15.
