What Brand of gas do you prefer?

Lately I've been running gas from Cumberland Farms(Gulf), people told me their gas is crap, but I've ran a bunch of different brands and there was no difference, but the price. Im happy with my 87@$1.65, what brands do you prefer?

I run whatever is cheapest, as long as it gives me no problems. I usually buy my gas at Sam's Club. I have bought it there for a couple of years with zero problems in any of my cars. Today it was $1.38 for 87 octane.

Shell, Chevron, Sunoco, and BP are supposed to be higher in the quality of gas. Gas is gas but each company puts there own mix of additives and this is what's different about them.

I use Exxon. Signed up for the UPromise program and Exxon pays $.01 for every gallon you purchase towards your kid's college education. Pretty good I think. 20 gallons a week for 18 years will add up.

Whatever is cheapest, most gas around here is pretty much of the same quality.

Usually Wawa or Shell.

The paradox for me is that the vehicles with the worst fuel economy like the highest octane fuel!

87 in 20 mpg Jeep, 89 in 12-13.5 mpg Sub, 93 in Bayliner... :p

Most the time I don't care but one time coming back from Ohio I put in Shell Gas and my truck ran like crap all the way home. After I ran it out and put something else in (maybe BP?) the truck ran fine and never gave me another problem, ever. I don't know if it was Shells fault or the gas station owner cutting corners but I've never been back to check the quality since. One bad apple spoils the bunch.

Chevron is the best based on their additive package.

murphy usa, thats in the walmart parking lot. always a little cheaper plus you can save even a few more cents per gallon if you want to go to the trouble of getting a walmart gift card and paying with it that way. it's the only gas in town that i could run in my old 383 that didn't ping, or at least not to where i could hear it. the other major brands would ping like crazy,

RaceTrac gets a couple hundred dollars a week from me. I like the gas price, and my wife likes the clean bathrooms.

When I pull the Harley truck out, I usually buy Shell premium unleaded

Cheap and Flammable are my only criteria. As said before, the only difference in brands is the additive, they all start out at 87 octane and they add their additive/octane boost to get the higher octane.

What do you all pay per gallon then, in my town(in CT) the lowest is $1.61. I went to Six Flags in Agawam Mass yesterday and they are $1.28 per gallon. I spend $15-30 a week.
