putting wheels on my 70 chevy longhorn with a 76 chevy 3/4 frt disc brake converison, rear is stock to vehicle?
who makes or has the lug nut conversion from metric to sae? and will I need to update the rear wheel studs to longer studs to install the caps?

look on ebay. I think the lug nuts you need are sold by lug nut king and others.

Haven't bought them yet, but I did a Google search and found a place that sells them, standard inside with metric outside.

Since your front has been converted to discs, you probably have 1/2" studs on the rear and 9/16" on the front. Here are eBay links to sets of 32 of each size and a mixed set of 16 of each size.

I'm not sure, but Longhorns may have always had Dana axles which normally require fairly thin spacers. If it has an Eaton, you are may be OK. Studs may be a tossup also.
