1971 K5 Blazer parts truck

I have decided to sell this project truck. It a 1971, has a clear Title, ready to go.
It was originally a v8 4 speed manual 4x4 truck. Engine trans and case are gone. The cross members are all still inside the truck, and the rear driveshaft. The body is mostly very nice. The worst is the passenger rear quarter panel behind the rear wheel. Its dented in pretty good down low. The drivers quarter doesn't have a ding in it, with just a small spot of rust by the rocker panel. There's a little rust in the front floors, nothing major by any means.
The doors, front fenders, hood, one inner fender, windshield frame, firewall, are all 99% rust free and very nice. I say 99% because there could always be something hidden somewhere I can't see from the out side. All glass is still in place, the top is a double wall, and is not saggy. The hatch is way above average condition. All hardware is present and in place. The tailgate is missing, as is the fuel tank. Someone swapped out the disc brake front axle for a drum brake unit. The high-back bucket seats that are pictured are included. I do have a set of utility front buckets and sliders, and a rear blazer bench complete. They are not included with the truck. I need a set of front sport buckets for a 1972 blazer. Unrestored or completely redone, if I could get a set of those bought I would consider selling the utility seats with this truck. I'm open to trades in that department. This would be a fantastic builder, or parts truck. I want to sell this complete at this time. $2,500

California's not too far. I guess it just depends on how bad you want it.

I thought the same thing it looks like a real good place to start, I would never see anything in that shape in Northeast. Good luck with the sale I'm sure it t won't last long.

There is guy in NM craigslist ad. In Santa Fe who is looking for one don't know how to post a link but look up craigslist in Santa fe and he has a WTB ad in there for I think 72 blazer. I already emailed him a couple of pics and wants to know how to get ahold of you. Shoot him an email.

Re: 1971 K5 Blazer parts truck

How are the rocker boxes underneath? Does the windshield frame have any signs of rust? Does the frame match the title and does the frame appear straight? How soon would it need to be picked up?
Thanks, Eric

Re: 1971 K5 Blazer parts truck

The rocker boxes look completely solid, the rocker panels are in real nice shape but have been changed. They appear to be GM rockers. The frame looks great, there is no salt used up in this area, so rust isn't a huge issue around here. The frame and title and Vin plate all match.
I see no rust or corrosion issues around the windshield frame, Cowl area, or firewall.
It can stay here for a while, I've stored some for up to a year. I don't want to get into that again though.

Re: 1971 K5 Blazer parts truck

Driver door looks blue, is it an original blazer door? or truck door? Can you post a pic of the rust on the floor you mentioned? also is a spid pic available? Is there a grill, front bumper etc that come with it? Is the hood and fenders all pretty straight? Core support?
Bummer I was just there a few weeks ago with an open trailer...

Re: 1971 K5 Blazer parts truck

The drivers door was blue yes, I'm not sure about weather it was a blazer door or not. I'll look when I get back home. There is no core support, the fenders are rust free and very clean. The spid is gone but glove box door is there, all heater parts and cowl is there. All nice.

Will do the 2500 if I could get my shipper to give me a reasonable cost to get it to California. If you give me the total measurement on the height I can get the estimate.

Total height is 73" with tires completely full. Also it's 15' 1" long. The parking brake does work also.
