1969 C 10 door lock question
This may have been covered before . I couldn't find it . Just always wondered why if I push my door lock down and then shut the door it unlocks ? It does keep you from locking your keys in the truck , hafta use the key . I had a `69 Malibu and don't think it was like that . My memory sure ain't what it used to be though . Any thoughts ?

Re: 1969 C 10 door lock question
Yup gotta use the key to lock the doors. Some older vehicles will stay locked when you shut the door if you hold down the outer door handle button but not our trucks. It's normal, no way around it either without power locks and a key fob.

Overdriven is correct. The '67-'72 trucks are all that way.... LockDoc
