Front Bumper Guards

Did they sell a set of front bumper guards for the painted bumper. I have a 69 and I'm interested in a set of the original short ones but not sure if they were available. Anyone have any input on that?

Thanks, I thought that they may have made them that way. Now the next question is does anyone have a set of them I nice shape in paint or primer just sitting on the shelf that they want to sell?

Re: Front Bumper Guards

I've had a few different sets of these painted short guards. They have been all different. I've had them painted white, painted argent, black primer, and green prime I guess was etch prime. So, there may be a set out there for you. But you could buy the repros, sand blast, and paint or powder coat for quick and easy.

It would be a shame to take a new set, blast the chrome off just to paint them. I'm sure there are some out there that are primed or painted.

Re: Front Bumper Guards

Watch the parts forum, they come up for sale every so often. I bought a couple sets with rubber inserts over the past 4 years.
