What is this? - black box
Continuing to rewire the truck and I had a ground wire going to this black box. What is this? Wondering if I should split off ground wire and hook this back up. Thanks everyone in advance for answering my dumb questions.

Voltage regulator. If its not plugged in someone has probably converted it to an internal voltage regulator.
