When I signal left all the lights flash

I was about to add a connection for towing when I ran across a bunch pinched and frayed wires. I started repairing some of the wires when I noticed that when I signal left all the lights flash like Hazzards. I did add a Hazzard switch but only the right side works. Any thoughts?

Re: When I signal left all the lights flash

Sounds like a grounding issue. Clean and check all grounds. I had a similar "funky" issue and couldn't figure it out until I made sure all grounds to the lights were solid. Redid the tail lt buckets and viola. Hope this helps.
