A pic of my 70 4 years in the making!
Hey gang,
I've been scratching my head too long on this one! I want to show you guys my Black 70 C10, SWB, 2wd, 468 powered, 3spd on the column, %95 restored truck! I can email a pic to someone if they can post it right away for me If you guys want I can take more pics. If you look close you can see my red/orange houndstooth bench seat sitting in there I'm so proud of my truck. I have to come up with a new name for him though. Any suggestions? I was thinking "Mighty Joe Young", like the old 1939 movie. I like the thunder of that 468 at 3500 rpm's down the interstate, makes me think of a gorilla beating his chest. Am I the only one who names their truck? My girlfriend is ready to leave me already. Thanks in advance guys. Joe Hirdler Last edited by ts71281; 10-21-2003 at 02:54 PM. |

Easiest way to post pics...
I just post my pics on the board w/out a web page. I just go into the "paint" program and resize them. They have to be at or smaller than 640X480. You open the pic in paint go to "image" and then "stretch/skew" then type in a # smaller than 100 in "horz." and "vert" (make sure #'s match) Then go to "image" then "attributes" and make sure it reads smaller than 640x480. Then go to "file" and "saveas" and save it to a place that is easy to find. Then when you start a thread or post a reply go down to the attach image box and browse for your newly saved pic. Easy eh? Any questions just PM me back.

Let's try it then. Here's a pic of my brothers 68 Hurst Olds taken on the same night we took the pic of my truck. See if I can get it to display this time.
