How do you get the glovebox emblem to stay put? I bought a new one and the orig. holes in the glovebox seem to big for the emblem rods. Am I missing something here? Duh! Thanks!

I used 3M double sided tape with good results. John

Some applications used a small round cylinder style (for lack of a better word, help me here people) insert that held the emblem studs in place......... Hope this helps......Jerry

You might be able to find the trim clips at an auto paint shop supply house. To describe them, I would say they look like a split-sided hollow nosed bullet with a flange on the back end. They have a little spring clip built into the side that hangs onto the pin on your emblem.
Good luck finding them, and if all else fails, there's always silicone.

I have seen those type clips at autozone, they are the same type for the center chrome trim on the tail gate above the handle.

I believe you are referring to "barrel nuts". Work well on fender emblems also.

I know what your talking about.

The holes in the glove box are bigger than the studs on the back of the emblom right?

There are these little metal things(sorry don't know the proper name for them)that slide into the hole 1st.
Then the stud on the emblom slides into the metal thingy.the emblom stud expands the metal thingy slightly snugging it up in the orig. glove box hole.

Did that make sense?

And sorry,I doen't know where to get those other than scavenging some from a junkyard.

Those same metal thingys are used to mount the "CST" embloms on the outside of the doors.
