From stock to drop
Over the cold season decided it was time for a change. Went from stock look to 2 1/2 inch drop spindle and 3 inch rear spring. Also fitted with 255-70-15 tires on front and 285-70-15 on the rear. It sure was a drastic change for me because i had it at stock height for 32 years.

Re: From stock to drop
It looks really good. The stance and the tires match perfectly. Good work.

It's a tasteful adjustment.

Re: From stock to drop
Gives it a nice stance and those wheels/tires fill out the fender wells real nice!

Re: From stock to drop
Looks good! Any chance you could post a pic directly facing one side? I would like to see the rake from using a 2.5/3 setup. Thanks.

Re: From stock to drop
I like it. Im really on the fence with tire size. Wanting to do the "traditional" 255/275 60 15 setup but I really like the way the 31 11.50 15 sit in the rear wheel wells.

Re: From stock to drop
I really like the stance! Is that a rear leaf spring drop?

Re: From stock to drop
It looks really good. Actually it looked pretty good to begin with, too. ;-)

Re: From stock to drop
I like the factory height but it looks good. Why no mirrors?

Re: From stock to drop
I have a rear view and the exterior mirrors make a protective truck cover hard to fit

Re: From stock to drop
I'm tire size shopping right now (like most everyone on the board) and I was looking for something a little 'meatier' than a 275/60 15 - I think I found it.
Is that a Coker 285/70? How do you like it? That's a big ol' boy and fills up the wheel well nicely; does it stay balanced well? Edit to add - is that a 8 or 10 rim? |
