"Junkyard Empire" show on Velocity featured a 1970 K5 (Link provided)
Watched it on my DVR last night, He bought a pretty nice original blazer (needing some serious maintenance) and restored it.
His mechanic wanted to leave the exterior completely alone, maybe just a polish/clear... I agree with his mechanic. he claimed he paid $15k and got a "STEAL" - Id say its about fair or a little high for how much love it needed, but no question that body was solid. I follow this show when I have free time, he either takes cars WAY too far, or keeps em pretty mild. Although he stole the originality from this truck, at least he didnt turn it into an abomination.
