Screw size for attaching gauge cluster to bezel

Can someone tell me the screw size for attaching the gauge cluster to the dash bezel? This is the 8 screws on the back of the gauge cluster.

I bought a new bezel and a dakota digital VHX setup and sold my old bezel/gauges. Now I don't have the screws to attach the DD gauge cluster to my new bezel.

I did a few searches but keep getting results for the bezel to dash screws instead of gauge cluster to bezel.

Neal, Do you need just the eight around the perimeter? If so PM me with your address and I can put them in the mail to you on Tues.

Re: Screw size for attaching gauge cluster to bezel

You might do yourself a favor and buy like:
https://www.amazon.com/StainlessTown...rew+size+gauge

https://www.amazon.com/Nut-Bolt-Thre...read+gauge+sae

This way you eliminate most of the mystery. Then all you have to contend with is tip type. You know, like the wrong #8-32 x 1.1/18 screws I just bought for tail/reverse lenses, because they don't have a "tapered" tip

Re: Screw size for attaching gauge cluster to bezel

Using the guage that Shortbed posted the screw which is self tapping is snug in the sae #8 hole and measures 1/2" in length. Since it is going into a piece of plastic you don't want a real aggressive thread. My offer to mail them to you still. Stands and both of the tools posted work well when needed.

Thanks for the offer. I kept looking around the shop and found some drywall screws that worked like a champ. Since they will never be seen after thre dash is installed i used those.
