Re: 1965 c10 wing window gasket
Steele Rubber has the wind wing gaskets. I put them on mine and was very pleased. This issue came up before and during that conversation another issue that concerned one person, was the gap from the gasket to the door on the outside. Steele Gaskets did not fit tight in this area on my truck. But, neither did my original gaskets. Steele Rubber Co. is a very reputable company that takes pride in there quality. Having said that, I would see what everyone else has to say.

Re: 1965 c10 wing window gasket
Hey guys just checked out Steele Rubber products. For wind wing gaskets a pair is $109. Not to sound like a cheapo but isn't that a little steep?

Steele Rubber uses the original OEM GM molds, made here in the US. Everything the truck suppliers have is Chinese manufactured. Like anything else, you get what you pay for.

Re: 1965 c10 wing window gasket
I spoke with Steele just now and he said they make the vent window gaskets in the USA, about 100 yards from the guy I was talking to on the phone. He stated some of their other weatherstripping is outsourced from other manufacturers (one of which was Precision) but not the vent window seals. He stated he never had anybody say the bottom of the vent window seal didn't seal tight to the door and left a gap. However, actual installers on this forum have proven that otherwise. From the research I have done, it doesn't appear any aftermarket vent window weatherstrip will solve the vent window to door gap issue.
