Oneton to the Rescue
Our church canceled this morning due to a city-wide water outage, but that just freed me up to rescue the in-laws' Caravan when it blew a heater hose at their church one town over. Towed it about 20 miles and the fan clutch + plugs and wires I put on last week were definitely ready to be changed.
The van was loaded as far forward as it would go on the 18 ft. trailer (max tongue weight) and the van/trailer combo weighed somewhere over 6,300 lbs., putting GCW at right around 12,000. No trailer brakes but it was more than manageable.

Re: Oneton to the Rescue
Thanks! Half of my justification for keeping 'er around is for events such as this, which is what she was built for.
