Took Truck Out For a Run

Got the lawn (2 acres of yard really, LOL) mowed this afternoon before the rain is supposed to set in again. Truck is a bit dusty and needs a bath and a wax, just no time right now. Still enjoy driving the 'ol vintage iron. Back to a simpler time and era, listening to 60's / 70's rock station on original am/fm truck radio while cruising.

Re: Took Truck Out For a Run

Thanks for the comment, like the vent shades for sure. Truck doesn't see a lot of outside weather but does help with the sun glare. Have vent shades on my old '88 Caprice former work car and the family ride also, '99 Tahoe 4x4.

Re: Took Truck Out For a Run

Nice to see you shakin' her down a little. That's something I'm working on getting in my '72 that it hasn't had since I've owned it...music! I love driving it now, but add good tunes and I may just keep driving till I get to the west coast!

Can't beat those Ventshades. A must if you ask me. They end up on everything I have. Leave the windows cracked while parked for a cooler interior when you get in, and no worries if a rain storm pops up. Ride along in the rain and still get some ventilation/cooling off

Next one to take out for a run is my '71 Chevelle, 350/700R4, a cruiser.

Re: Took Truck Out For a Run

Do it! I tell you, been a few nice days here. They are out makin' the hay everywhere you look. Up till the other day, they were saying we have only had four days of sunshine since the start of Spring. I'm seeing the antiques, rods, and classics out driving all week long.
