Re: brush guards
Don't know of anyone that makes them. You can still find used ones around . They were made in Minnesota

Re: brush guards
I bought an OEM Luverne grill guard off a forum member some three years ago. He had found it in a WA junkyard.

Re: brush guards
Do you have a pic of the Luverne? I have 3 aftermarket ones and it would be cool to ID whoever made them.

Re: brush guards
Thanks, that was helpful. It looks like I have one LuVerne, one Steel Processors and one UFO. Just took the Steel Processors guard to Paul's Chrome Plating yesterday to have it redone.

Re: brush guards
I assume your truck will sport a brush guard then?
I plan to mount mine as deer hits are common here, according to a national stat, WV leads the nation in deer hits and a local body shop told me "70% of their repairs were due to deer." Two years ago I hit a bear with my daily driver! Only my alertness, fast action, and relatively low interstate driving speeds saved my car and possibly me that night. |

Re: brush guards
I plan to install one of them (TBD) on my 1971 Jimmy. I am going to have the other two cleaned up and re-painted or plated just in case I ever get my hands on an elusive SWB K-10.
