Re: Suburban cluster
If I got this right 1988 trucks cluster 1/2, 3/4 Ton, 1992 1 ton Suburban cluster same speedo next gen.
If your 87,88,89,90,91 1/2, 3/4, 1Ton Suburban cluster same 81-87 truck 1/2, 3/4 Ton a lot same few key parts changes. Hope this answer your question: Direct fit would be under lined. with a un-touched cluster you will have look closely. If you want a direct factory replacement.( of the same OPTION on your Suburban.)

Re: Suburban cluster
The 90 cluster is electronic, even though it looks the same. 80-87 C/K trucks and 80-90 Suburban clusters are the same an will swap around. 73-80 had differences, and you must be careful with those. Only difference is the Suburbans had trip counters in the later speedometers.

When the electronic speedometers were introduced, the VSS was moved down to the transmission where it took the place of the speedometer cable drive. |
