Gauge bezels

I need a new gauge bezel, but before purchase, I wondered who has purchased one, where they got it from and were they pleased with the quality of it? They're on ebay for $25, but other quality vendors sell them for $40+. You usually get what you pay for, but is this the case with bezels too?

Just trying to prevent making a mistake here.....I want a good quality OEM looking bezel. Recommendations welcome. Thanks all....

I bought mine from GMCPaul. The quality seemed fine. I would like to know if there is a difference between the $25 one and the $40+ one as well.

I have them for 25.00 dollars and I would be willing to bet that the other vendors buy them from the exact same manufacturer I do.

There are different manufacturers of dash bezels. Some are made in the US and some overseas. You can take bezels from different manufacturers and set them side by side and see a difference in quality. Whether it is the black part not quite covering like it should or the chrome on the edges being wavy looking. Just buy from a vendor who backs up what they sell, from what I read from this board all vendors here do. You get what you pay for. It was amazing when I was a dealer how price was more of a concern to some customers than quality.

mold color

In looking at these, I've notice that some look to be molded in black, while others are molded in white or a clearer base before the "chrome" look is applied. Can anyone verify this?

I bought one from Rick's for $25 and am very happy with it....Half the price of the other vendors

Mine has chrome around the edges, but the face is painted in flat black, just like the originals.

I have bought 3 or 4 from rick, and have not been disapointed. I sold one to someone on here last winter with rick's bezel on there...wish I could remember who, i think it is still sitting in his living room though.
