68' C/10 Wheel stud question
Hi there. I just recently purchased a 1968 C/10 with the 6 lug rear end. I am trying to put a set of transport wheels on and the bore of the wheels is smaller than the face of the axle. I really don't wanna machine the center of the wheels out. I currently have spacers on, which do the trick. However, the stock studs are to short now and I need to replace them with longer ones. Can anyone tell me what size studs they used and where they purchased them? thanks in advance!

They are 7/16 on a 6 lug. then you will just have to get a length according to how much you need.

Yes 7/16"-20 thread, they can found at your locale parts store or they can get them...

Re: 68' C/10 Wheel stud question
I have transits on mine and had the centers bored out because I didn't want to run spacers. Turns out, even after changing the backspacing to 4" from the original 6", I still have too much backspacing and want to run spacers anyway. I searched around quite a lot for longer studs and ended up with these Moser studs from Summit. I also used these Cal Custom lug nuts because they have a larger seat to accommodate the larger holes in the transits which are meant for 14mm studs. With these nuts, studs, and a 1/2" spacer, the threads stick out past the nuts about 1/2" and the whole setup will still fit underneath a stock cap.
