Drop Spindles
I ordered my western chassis drop spindles from Summit, they are on backorder from the factory and have no idea on ship date. Any other options on drop spindles to be able to run factory rally wheels? I have 1" rotors ....

Re: Drop Spindles
Belltech makes a great spindle for the 1" rotors.

I run them on all my 73-87 trucks. Using a blanket statement like that is incorrect. Any 15" wheel with 3.5" backspace will work fine. Wheels with more require trimming of the lower a-arm. I've been trimming a-arms since the mid 1980's. Truck rally wheels have: 15x8 (4" BS) 15x7 (3.625" BS) 15x6.5 van rally's (4" BS) I always ran 15x7's and 15x8's on my trucks. But I also trim the lower a-arm on all my trucks that I lower. (67-87) Takes 5 minutes per side with an angle grinder and a cut-off wheel.

Re: Drop Spindles
Just so you know. I have had Western Chassis 2.5 drop spindles and have never had to trim a lower control arm. I have run 15x8 rallies and they have always cleared. No problems with them at all in my experience.

Re: Drop Spindles
Thats what I keep hearing , may not even keep the rally wheels, but like having the option to run them without modification. I really dont want to run 7s in the front either.

Re: Drop Spindles
Could you use the western chassis 2,5" drop spindle with 13' brake disc?
