Replacing the steering column

Hi every one

I changed my old Th250 for a TH700r4 so I need change the column to maintain the shift in the column. Can I install a 84 steering column y my 79 C10 or I need some modifications to make ir work?

Check with these guys, my column on my 83 was shot, it was an auto 4 speed column for the 700R4, very happy with the rebuilt they sent me
