Finally working the truck

Well, I have been one of those owners who bought a decent truck and due to work/life issues, moving etc, just have never had any time to really work on it for the last 5 years or so.
This week, with the help of a couple of really good friends, we got the engine installation completed, and I finally got to hear that beast of a 396 fired up and running. Just last night we finally got it running at operating temperature after replacing 2 freeze plugs that gave out from the engine sitting in storage for 4 years after the build/dyno work was done (builder installed steel plugs).

Pleased as kid in a candy store, hoping I didn't have an engine built too hot for my intended use.
Anyway, I thought I would share a picture with you. Some of you might remember it was advertised for sale here on this forum and I bought it while I was stationed in Afghanistan back in the '12 timeframe.

More pics to follow as work progresses.
