That's a nice clean looking coe...asking 1500 but also says trade only..love it..I'd definitely give 1500 for it if its not rusted out

I like the truck. Not sure what a 270 v8 is?
I bid on a similar one at a farm auction last year. Engine condition unknown. I dropped out at $295. Other guy got it for $315 I think plus fees etc. Would prefer an earlier truck so I didn't run it up.

Oh, it's properly called a "Low Cab Forward" not a real Cab Over Engine.

my old boss has one of these trucks just rotting away behind his shop, been there for like 6 years.

its cool how cheap these are, wish the 1/2 tons in this shape went for that cheap

Looking at the 55 2nd Series specs, the only engines listed are 235 & 261 six cylinders, and a 265 V-8. Interesting that there was a 4-speed auto trans available called a Detroit Transmission Hydra-Matic.

1969 C10 (not the current one) that I bought in the early 1980s. Paid $1200; sold for $1500 a few years later. Just a hint at the appreciation that was coming.

All chevy LCF trucks from 55-59 came with a v8 so this would have a 265 if it is original
