4x4 lift question
I'm building a 1970 4x4 , planning on 37/13.50/22 Toyos , how much lift is needed ? It looks as if a 6inch would work but not sure with the 13.50's

Re: 4x4 lift question
Because of the shape of wheel wells, you have to go more than on the square bodies. So for 37s, 13.5s, 6 is cutting it close, especially being so wide. 35 x 12.50s work well with 6. Certainly no less than 6". Also long bed vs short bed might make a difference in the rear because of the shape of the wheel wells.

Re: 4x4 lift question
you might be o.k. with an 8" lift depending on rim width and backspacing. my 72 super has an old/tired 4" lift and will clear 35s on an 8" rim but put the same tire on a 10"rim and they hit.
