anyone have any leads on a 70s van tilt column shifter handle. i found one on ebay. really nice one to. ended up not being the right gate style.

the one i have the end is worn down. it wont hold into place. new or old?

Looks like the one I bought from The Truck Shop in Orange, CA only not worn.

you get the short one? hopefully that will look right on a 15" wheel.

Yes I got the short one, I also have a 15" wheel but haven't mounted it yet. Good luck.

Have you thought about building up the worn down area with a mig welder and then just grinding it to shape?

yea, it did cross my mind. the shifter is to far gone. pitted chrome and epoxy handle on the end.
not worth the effort. thanks for your help though.
