TX Want to Buy: 67-70 front chrome bumper

Does anybody have an old front chrome bumper for 67-70 pickup in the Dallas or Houston area that I could drop by and pick up? I am looking for a daily driver bumper. I will buy a new one if I need to, but if somebody has one somewhat near me that they would like to get rid of, and which may have some imperfections and available for a less-than-new-part price, I would prefer to save some money.

I have a new one for 150 plus the ride. I am in NW ARK, so the ride shouldn't be terrible.

Thanks. I am first looking for a used one, I kind of thought people would have them laying out behind a shed or something, left over from making a nice shiny build. As you can see from my avatar and profile picture, my truck is not gleaming with newness. But if it doesn't work out to get a used one, I will probably take you up on that offer.

I totally understand, I will dig around and see if I have a less than new. I think I have a "patina Chrome" GMC front. They have the dimples on each side for the grill mount turn signals. If you get to that point and want to look at it, shoot me a text and I will send you some pics. 479-841-8090

I have a 71-72 front bumper you can have... it has a dent above one of the turn signal that you could probably straighten out..... check out facebook page The 67-72 chevy c10 dfw group (Roll Call) if you are on FB.....I posted pics there or you can pm me your # and Ill text you pics , Carlos

Thanks very much, that is very generous. I didn't know about that Facebook group. I'll check it out. I would like to see if I can find a 67-70 bumper first, the 71-72 bumper on my truck is what I'm trying to get away from so I don't have those extra holes for turn signals.

I'll bet somebody has a used Chevy 67-70 front chrome bumper left over from doing a full restore and making their truck nice and super-shiny. I would like to buy a used one, imperfections OK. But I am wanting to get rid of the extra holes I have for the turn signals in my 71-72 bumper that is on my 69 truck.

There is a place in Cameron TX that has used parts for 67-72, I got a very good used bumper from them for my 68 GMC, Green's Restoration and Repair 254-482-0186 or 254-697-4304

I believe they have over a hundred 67-72 parts trucks in their yard

What's needed to put a 71-72 onto a 70. If it's not to bad a swap I have a daily driver 70. I'm looking to put the blinkers in the bumper on mine.

I believe it just bolts on with the center 4 bolts. For the outer 2 bolts you would need to make the 45 degree brackets a little longer with some fabricating skills, or get some 71-72 brackets. On my 69 I just have the center 4 bolts holding it on and my 67-70 45 degree brackets are not connected to it. My 71-72 chrome bumper is bent slightly. It needs to be bent back into shape, but otherwise it is in OK condition.

I'll get you a pic when it stops raining. Mine is a good driver with a tiny tweak on passenger side. You have to look for it.

I am looking for a used chrome front bumper for 67-70 somebody may have left over from a project. I need one that does not have the 2 holes for turn signals. Used with some imperfections such as scratches or minor dents would be fine. I am in Houston and periodically go to the Dallas area and San Antonio.
