67 vent window delete, need info

I have seen pictures of custom trucks where they have placed newer style mirrors in place of the vent window and shaved the mirors from the door. Can anybody give me info on what is involved in doin this. Looks to me like there could be window channel mods involved and maybe custom glass made. Any info is appreciated.

do you mean the one piece glass like dinnut said, or do you mean actually taking out the vent window, filling it with metal, and attaching the mirrors off a car to the metal insert? i've seen one that had it, to me it looked dorky, the mirrors were up too high and stick out too far, and it would make a sizeable blind spot. but to each his own i suppose.

Well, I did mean with the mirrors in the vent window spot, but I wasn't aware you could get a one piece glass. So the one piece glass takes the place of the vent window and the window? Where to you get tracks to fit this, or do you modify the stock ones? Anybody got a pic of a truck with this done?
Thanks
