I paid $400 for a nice 65 longbed frame that was blasted, primered, painted.
I would think a clean shortbed frame should go for at least $500.

Re: 65 short box frame?

First of all I do not understand why you bought that chopped up '67 frame if you already have an original shortbed frame? My suggestion would be to keep your original frame until you are absolutely certain that the '67 frame you bought is not a total disaster.

Re: 65 short box frame?

Me personally, I would never swap frames unless it was because of severe rust or damage. The frames have the VIN stamped on them and I for one, look for it if I am a buyer. Granted most folks won't. If it were mine and was a solid frame, I would blast and paint, swap front suspension for discs and power steering, keep the 6 lug, drop it a bit and roll with it.
Good luck with whatever you decide. I think $4-500 for a stock useable non upgraded frame/rolling chassis is fair.
