I never have seen a long bed step side as a 4x4,most of them was fleet/gov trucks so they bought the cheapest bare basic trucks.If it the vin says 2wd then its had a body swap or a 4x4 swap done on it.But to me i like it and would drive that truck as is.

I like a 4x4 Long Step but I agree that I haven't seen many 4x4. It does have the 20 badge on the fender but also has a bit of a funny rake to it. Either way, if properly done its still cool.

I really like it. Probably just a frame swap, which would be the same frame it would have had if it had come from the factory 4wd. Not many bought the long Stepsides in the square body, but they could be had and they are out there. Yes, they are rare. GM finally stopped offering them after '84, with so few being ordered.
