14 years? And I thought my 4 years was a lot. Of course, I am not restoring the whole thing, just getting it to run, be safe, and cleaning up the front end rust.

I'm nearing completion of redoing my Dad's 70 GMC. It's only be about 20 years.

Re: Farm Truck

Got a description? I'm curious what you have that you call a farm truck. Is it a farm truck or something built to look like that beater drag truck from OK?

Re: Farm Truck

Cool, a real farm truck given a new lease on life on Easy St. I'm sure it earned it.

Re: Farm Truck

That truck in his signature sure is as sweet as it gets! I'm not sure that's the farm truck, though.

All the trucks I've restored I "finished". When you know exactly what you want in the end that's not hard to carry out. Beyond that it's just upkeep. That said, it's been many years now since I even started one. How long a restoration takes has no timetable for me. The only time that matters is whenever it gets done. For now the only time that matters is when I'll get started! My short bed project has sat without being touched for longer than most people keep a truck. It's looking like a retirement project at this point, since working on getting to the big R (2nd attempt) has become my biggest priority.

Alan, I hope all is good.
