2009 swap ECM
1 have a couple of trucks that are equipped the same. 2009 1500wt with 5.3l engines. one of the trucks has the speed limiter adjusted to 89 kph (55mph) and it is getting to be a problem as at that speed the truck won't shift into a higher gear.
I would like to swap the ECM's between the trucks and I'm having problems identifying the procedures for 2007+ trucks. I would appreciate any assistance on this. Chris |

I think it would be easlier for you to send tbe ecu out and have the speed limiter removed, either way on an 09 no easy way to swap the ecus as it would need to be programed to the new vin and bcms and vats reprogramed
