Grille support rods
I have these two rods that are marked "grille support rods" from when I dismantled my 1950 3100. For the life of me I can't find photos of where they go. They look just like the support rods that go from the cowl to the upper front fenders, but these are shorter. Anyone have a pic of where they go, or at least a description?

I'm thinking they go to the core support but if you put them in with the bolts a bit loose and move them around they should find their top holes to bolt to.

It's funny, I bought my truck in 1973, it didn't have those, never have gotten them, I have no idea where they go. LOL

A few weeks back was doing repair work to mine from deer wreck, just happen to have a pic showing were that attach, hope this helps...Jim

Thanks to all. Kinda weird that they don't attach symmetrically at the bottom. One is an inch longer than the other and is dead center. The shorter one offset to the drivers side just a smidge

I think most of us have fought that battle at one time. A case of "why won't it, OH!" The guys who get the in the right spot the first time must feel pretty smug.
