Impromptu campout
Temporarily living 40 miles from Campbellsville where I'm putting in long hours moving my repair shop into town, while taking as many jobs as I can, and working part time at a vineyard, I told wifey Tuesday afternoon that I really didn't feel like wasting the 90 minutes just to drive home, sleep, and come back, so she threw some stuff in the car and came up. Drove the 'Burb about 5 mi. out of town to Green River Lake, got a $13 tent spot, and enjoyed some peace and quiet beside the lake. Slept pretty good, too. And yes, wifey is 8 months pregnant. She assured me she enjoyed it, too! It was half coincidence, half intentional that our spot was #67.

LOL! Even though I went right back to work the next morning, I needed that reprieve way more than I realized. Reminded me of the trips my family took out West in the 'Burb 20 years ago.

Good deal! It's really nice to get away from everything once in a while, even for a short time.... LockDoc

Re: Impromptu campout
I hope you keep that burb forever and frame up that picture for your kiddo to have. Maybe have someone that is a photoshop pro really make it look extra nice.

Re: Impromptu campout
Its condition tells its story so I'll probably pass on the photoshop, but it isn't going anywhere!

Re: Impromptu campout
I didn't mean to fix up the burb, just get all the colors in the picture really nice and vibrant without looking overly saturated. Prolly not explaining it right ...

Re: Impromptu campout
Oh! Yeah, I took, edited, and posted it with my phone so I'm sure it could be improved.
