Re: 454 w/ th400

If that TH400 is actually in a 4wd truck it might have too short of a tailshaft to work in your 2wd truck. Might want to check that out before you drop that cash.

1k sounds reasonable as long as the mileage isn't too high and everything works as it should.

Re: 454 w/ th400

Correction..motor and tranny coming out of a C30 and while I'm here, what other parts would I be needing from the c30, ie: cross member, drive shaft motor mount brackets? Thanks again

I'd grab the engine mount frame stands and mounts for sure, you will need those.
Not sure about the cross member and drive shaft.

Re: 454 w/ th400

Be sure to get the slip yoke , steering colum and frame linkages and the kick down switch and wiring for the t400.

The 4 core rad and the mounts if available. Upper and lower rad hoses if salavagable.
and dont forget that rad should have the trans cooler lines.

The frame stands for the motor mounts.

Exhaust manifolds, and any of the down pipeing
way easier than headers

Just a few i thought of.
