Rarest Option
Just wondering what the rarest option available for our trucks would be?

Re: Rarest Option
That spare tire wheel lock Southern Parts has for sale is pretty rare.
Clock, compass, spot lights--especially the passenger side, Suburban roof rack... That'd be my list for Rarest of the Rare. -Brad

Re: Rarest Option
I think the wiper motor that also squirts washer fluid is rare. Can anyone confirm? Never seen one on another truck. I'm sure it's factory.
My 63 has tubing that goes from the engine bay, through the firewall and then back out again to the squirt nozzles right where the wiper motor is.

Re: Rarest Option
My 66 GMC Custom has a squirt nozzle for washer and button in center of control knob. Also has power steering and appears to have come with two spare tires mounted inside the bed. Backup lights, powerglide and deluxe heat/defrost. Maybe it was a demonstrator.

My 65 has the washer squirter. I don't think it's rare.

Re: Rarest Option
I thought about that, too... and total production numbers for the known year's, probably bares that out.
I think a PTO winch was an available option for 4x4s, but I'm not positive. If it was, that'd have to be the rarest option available. (The Pikes Peak video said everything on the trucks was an available option, and that NAPCO had a winch, if I recall correctly)

Re: Rarest Option
I didn't know there was a floor pump for washer fluid.
That's in place of the vacuum-operated one that's incorporated into the wiper switch? -Brad
