WTB need 12 rear dif bolts

Looking to buy 12 rear dif bolts, 5/16-18-1'' I think. For my '71 Blazer restore. I'm sure I'll find mine as soon as I buy these. Would off the shelf home depot Lowes stainless work ok? Thanks

Be sure to use anti-seize with the stainless so it can be taken apart at some point down the road. Galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metals will form if anti-seize isn't used as a barrier between them.

I could be wrong but I don't think that is the case with stainless to cast iron.

Absolutely right, less likely with cast iron, but if the bolts are holding on an aluminum cover or get exposed to a corrosive environment (beach, salt air, salt water, road salt etc) then the chance for corrosion increases. Personally I feel its good practice to use anti-seize when dealing with stainless in general to prevent galling...but to each his own.
