73 c10 sb
I would like to know what a 73 sb is worth. the truck is torn apart right now, cab has rust in the rockers and corners and the bed too, frame has been painted ready to be put back together. any help on this would be great. Also I have not looked at it yet its a co workers truck sitting at his house and its a two owner truck.

In California, the paperwork is worth more than the truck. Someone will give you $500 for the cab with title.

Re: 73 c10 sb
I was thinking around $1200 for the whole thing since it is a sb.

Re: 73 c10 sb
on your coast 1200 might be fair....on our side 1200 would get you a running driving truck...around here for a truck in the condition you described. ..maybe 500 for the whole thing...unless there was something extremely collectable or rare about it..

Re: 73 c10 sb
If you are thinking of buying it and re-selling it for profit, I don't think it's worth your time. Too many out there in better shape, and together for not a lot of money.
Here's a pic of the one (on the left) I bought for $650, rust free, with good paint. No motor, trans., master, but other than that it's a great long bed. Way better factory paint than my K20 sitting next to it on the right. Thinking I will marry them up one day. So, unless it's a running and driving truck, it's parts. I would pass if it was me with the rust you mentioned. Might want to try SearchTempest. fill in zip code, cars/trucks for sale, any distance, and C-10 as search criteria and it will search your local craigslist ad, then next town, county, state, circle keeps getting bigger and bigger and you can see every c-10 in the nation for sale and what price they are "ASKING". nothing else, you will educate yourself on what they are bringing and how many are available.

Re: 73 c10 sb
well I see long beds not short beds in your pic, so what does a short bed bring?

Re: 73 c10 sb
Short beds are always more valuable. But "rusty" short beds? Do what you want. I pass on rusty vehicles and wait and find those that are not rusty. You get a guy in the rusty part of the country, rust repair might not be too much of an issue.
