California Smog

Has anyone in California registered their truck as a classic vehicle to get around smog laws? I know a few of the new laws died at the senate. The trucks is 1989 GMC C3500.

I'm not from California, but my recollection of previous discussions is that you aren't going to get around smog unless it is a '74 or earlier.

Re: California Smog

In CA it is 75 and earlier for smog exemption. I did my research when I was truck shopping for an older truck, lucked out and bought a 70K10 One owner truck.
