LMC lower side molding & tailgate band

It's time to replace the lower side molding and the tailgate wood grain band on my Blazer. I am wondering if any of you have used the moldings and replacement tailgate wood grain sticker offered by LMC? How was the quality and fitment?

Re: LMC lower side molding & tailgate band

Several years ago I got a woodgrain band from Brothers (maybe same supplier as LMC?). The woodgrain didn't last one year in the NM sun. The truck was outside - decal shrunk, bubbled, and faded.

Re: LMC lower side molding & tailgate band

I got my side my side and upper tail gate moldings from Mar-k, super nice and made in the USA. The tail gate band I got from Brothers was real nice but I think it was imported.

I wouldn't bother with LMC. Mar-k in my experience is even better than original.

Re: LMC lower side molding & tailgate band

I have one lower piece that is from LMC. It was on my truck when I bought it 10 years ago. It's the passenger side behind the door and in front of the rear wheel. Mine are the black pieces, not the woodgrain, and the black in the center has chipped and peeled off several times. I've tried touching it up but it looks like crap. Granted it's older, but not great quality. I still have original pieces that the black looks great on.
