Order of door glass installation
I know I don't post very often, sorry about that. I need some direction on assembling my door guts on a 67 GMC. I have just finished rebuilding the vent window assembly. I need to know what order the parts go back in the door. Is it:

1. vent window assembly
2. door glass

or

1. door glass
2. vent window assembly

I have the vent window assembly in first right now but cannot get the door glass into the channel.

door glass 1st, then vent window. Can't do it the other way, I tried!!

Randy's instructions are great. Simple and to the point.

Unless I stand corrected, the short answer is install the regulator, install the roll-up into the regulator, seat the window & regulator to the very rear of the door, install the vent window, mount the window channel & sweeps.

Install vent window from passenger compartment side with forward point, pointing to inside of truck
