Side glasses go only halfway down.
Had new insulation, channel bars & fuzzies put in doors of '66 during rebuild. Got it back in winter, so did not roll down windows until warm weather. That's when I realized BOTH glasses "bottomed out" when they got about half way down. Builder told me regulators were worn out; so I bought just one for pass. side to ensure he was right. He replaced that one, but it is no better after new reg.
Anyone else run into this problem? Any suggestions/ideas? S |

Re: Side glasses go only halfway down.
Sounds like the regulator is not installed right. Pull the door panel and check it out should be an easy fix

Re: Side glasses go only halfway down.
Your regulator wheels might be hitting the screws that hold the regulator channel to the door glass mounting frame. Pull your door panel and check where the wheels stop when the window bottoms out.
