72 stepside Brake & Rev. light brackets
Would like correct info. on the original factory color of the brake /tailight & back-up light BRACKETS used on 72 C-10 stepside. I have seen both black as well as body color on several trucks...which is factory correct ? Pics would be great also if you have any. Thanks for your help guys & girls !

No one knows what color these brackets were from the factory ??? Mine had many layers of paint & rust, so I can't be sure. I want to make my truck as original as possible & would like to paint them the correct color.

Had a '69 GMC step and the brackets were body color, "original truck". I'm sure it will boil down to different years, different models, that whole thing. Hopefully one of the experts will join in.
