WTB: one exhaust manifold bolt for SBC w AC
Chasing the exhaust manifold bolt for 350 SBC w AC - the most forward RH bolt as shown below. I believe it's double threaded and doubles to attach one of the AC compressor brackets. Mine was tossed by a PO when the headers went on. Thanks. Pete

Reply sent. Yep, it would resemble one of the bolts used for the water pump but the portion of bolt that runs through the AC bracket is longer at ~ 2 in total length.

Re: WTB: one exhaust manifold bolt for SBC w AC
Measures 1 5/8 one side, exactly 2 inch other side total. Measured from bolt face opposing.
Not perfect but chased it with 3/8-16 die then ran a nut down both sides. Whatcha got for a trade. I could really use a cast iron thermostat housing with little or (no rust) hopefully. |

Re: WTB: one exhaust manifold bolt for SBC w AC
Thanks! I'll take it. Happy to trade - I know I have a good spare OEM t-stat housing from a SBC without that threaded insert but for some reason am thinking it's aluminum rather than iron. Does that sound right? I'll have to double check on the pulley - not sure if there's one attached to a spare pump I have boxed up.
